Toxic Red Tide Plagues Florida's Gulf Coast
Red tides are dangerous because of a toxin that attacks the nervous systems of animals that could kill them.
Red tides make lots of dead fish wash up on the beaches from Tampa to Naples and has also killed over 266 sea turtles, 68 manatees, 11 dolphins, and a young whale shark.
